saving and sharing markup
Click Save under the File menu to save your work to disk as an .xpsr (native format of Mark^Up Tools).
Share this file with other Mark^Up Tools users who want to add marks and comments.
After the initial Save, the file can be saved as a copy in the following formats:
- As another XPSR to send to another Mark^Up Tools user
- As a PDF for viewing on any computer
- As an XPS to provide a high-quality vector read-only markup file
- As a JPEG to provide an image file
save as an XPSR
Share an editable copy of the markup document with other users of Mark^Up Tools.
XPSR is the Mark^Tools native format and can be opened by other Mark^Up Tools users, who can then add their own layers and create their own marks, comments, text and graphics.
save as an XPS file
Share a read-only copy of the markup document showing all visible Mark^Up Tools layers.
These XPS files can be opened in Internet Explorer on all XP and later Windows operating systems.
XPS files viewed in Internet Explorer, as within Mark^Up Tools, display high quality when zoomed because of the underlying XPS vector graphics subsystem.
save as a PDF file
Save as a PDF image to share a read-only copy of the marked document across all computer platforms
save as a JPEG file
Use a JPEG image to share a read-only copy of the marked document with everyone, regardless of operating system.
